Ayumi - OC Shinigami

At first, I was drawing Ayumi to be a roleplay character whenever I felt like RPing a Bleach based roleplay on Gaiaonline. xD However as I began to draw her, I remembered that it was a good opportunity for me to draw her as my OC from a probable Bleach fanfic instead. xD Though, now I'm not totally sure of that AU Bleach fanfic and if I really want to write it or not. ;D Nevertheless, I felt like drawing the smiling Ayumi-chan. xD

In the fan fiction, Ayumi doesn't start out as a captain actually, even though she is drawn as a captain. She first started as regular ghost in the beginning of the story, but I thought it would be fun just to draw her in a captain outfit because I kept asking myself what-ifs questions. So I just drew her as one of the thirteen captains of Soul Society! And yes, I choose her to become the Third Division Captain... don't really know why though. Maybe there's something of the number three that I thought fit Ayumi well. 0_o Hmm, I should look up for number symbolism in cultures to see if I choose the right division to make her a captain as. xD

The hardest part of this was digitally inking this whole thing on Paint Shop Pro 7. _-_;; It took about six to eight hours to finish inking it. Oh wait. Was it lower than six hours? I don't remember. >.> With all that inking, I can't seem to remember. If I started around 6 in the morning (slept around one in the morning that time) and stopped around 11 in the morning, that's only about four hours! >.>; Oh, opps. My mistake.

Anyways, as for the coloring, I think I spent about three, or more, hours to finish. Mainly because I couldn't decide what hair color matched her personality best. 0_0 I seriously tried all the colors of the rainbow as well for dark and light/pale colors. >.< The only one that I seemed to be neutral with was this 'dull violet' color she has been colored in now. When I asked for opinions from my siblings, they all thought it was okay. So, yay! And then my big sister called her boring looking because of the hair color. Ouch! >.o

Update: YAY! I decided on a last name and here's the gist of my original character.

Zanpakuto Information
Name: Kuromaru ( 黒丸 )
Materialized Form: A three-headed black dog with crimson eyes; when standing on all four legs, it stands three feet in height.
Normal Appearance: Looks just like any typical zanpakutou –just without any guard. The designs of the hilt are ugly shaped dark red and white squares. The sheath is just a regular black color and is easy to grip.

Shikai Form
Releasing Words: “Ruin, Kuromaru.”
Shikai Form: Now she has a scarlet guard that is shaped of a triangle with a black hilt. It becomes a huge double-edged, two-handed sword.
Attacks: She constantly runs her spiritual powers into the sword, and due to her lazy side, she just likes swinging the big sword around like a manic (and tends to laugh like a manic) –and it is because of this constant run of her powers into the sword and swinging it wildly creates earthquakes in a one hundred meter radius from the spot when she swung her sword.

Bankai Form
Bankai Name: Jigoku ( 地獄 ) no ( の ) Kuromaru ( 黒丸 )
Bankai Form: A three-story tall three black headed dog wrapped in chains and. It constantly drools its acidic salvia and always looks angry at something; and when it breathes back and forth heavily like how a dog always does, black flames emits from its mouth with every breath out. Wrapped around its neck are big, heavy, and long chains that must be held and carried by Ayumi like a leash.
Attacks: When held on a leash, Jigoku no Kuromaru can only breathe out his fire from where he is stand because of the heavy chains weight him down. He can only move when Ayumi allows him to. If she doesn’t, then he’s can only stomp his feet to create mini earthquakes or breathe out fire. However, if Ayumi lets the chain go or destroys her herself, Jigoku no Kuromaru can run free on his own, and is often more dangerous in this state. He can do whatever he wants, even when it comes to killing innocent people that come in the way of the battle. And it’s because of that problem that Ayumi doesn’t let go the leash unless it is a must.

The leash is actually connected to her new sword form which had transformed at the time when she released it to Bankai form, which had been resized back to a skinner form that is about only one inch in width and about half her height.
